Fun with Records!
okay, so...I dont know if y'all are hip to this or not, BUT! Here's something you can amaze your friends with on a rainy day (and in only a few easy steps!!!)

Step One: Grab a copy of the X-ray Spex' 'Germ Free Adolescents' or the single of 'I Am A Poseur'.

Step Two: Set record player to 33.

Step Three: Put record on turntable and play away.

Whats that you hear? Is it...Why, yes. I think it must be Black Sabbath. [lolz;;;]

Anyway, thats what I have to contribute today.

i just joined and figured i oughta introduce myself. well, i've only recently seriously dedicated myself to building a record collection but yeah latest purchases:
liquid liquid - s/t (a must have for any fans of electronic music)
eddie murphy - how could it be (does it get any better than 'party all the time'?')
the vibrators - pure mania
t.rex - the slider

anyone with any suggestions as to any methods that are best to follow when starting up a collection and what not would be much appreciated.

hey there is a new 2x RATTUS lp "The Poko Recordings 1981-1984" out, the later stuff (2nd lp) is really good hardcore-punk, but even if you don't dig that the early stuff (which is impossible to find) is good punk... when they started they got the name from a stranglers record if that gives you any kind of clue. is got rattus rautaa 12" EP, rajoitettu Yydinsota 7" EP, wc räjähtää 12" MLP, uskonto on vaara 12" MLP, really good stuff. you can order from brickwall records for about 20 bucks. it's worth it!! there is a record shop down town where i managed to pick up an instagators ep 2$, thatcher on acid lp 3$ (i think this is on all the mad men, the mobs reclab).. toxic reasons lp 4$, my girlfriend beat me to the broken bones lp (7$), and my other friend got the lost cherrees lp (orig) for 3$!!!!!!!!! sweet deal.

Current Music: cinema strange - demo cs
